Our Process
Our custom kitchen and timber joinery design and build process
If you’re building new, please start by giving us a call to make an appointment to come in with your house plans. We’ll chat about what you have in mind and show you how we can help you achieve it. If you’re renovating, we’ll do a house call and visit you at your place.
It’s a good idea to bring some pictures or magazine pages to the initial consultation to show what style you like. If we’re talking kitchens, it’s also helpful to have a good idea of what kind of appliances you intend to use. And if you have already had plans drawn by an independent designer, we’re more than happy to give you a free quote.
Once you’ve confirmed you want to work with us, we move to our structured design, production and installation process, which ensures the project runs smoothly, on time, and that nothing unexpected crops up.
Our step by step design, production, and installation process

Step 1. Design & Quote
After the initial consultation, we create a concept design which we can email or print for viewing in our showroom. Once the design is confirmed, we will cost it and give you a written quote.

Step 2. Showroom meeting
When you’re happy with the design and our quote, and confirm that you wish to proceed, the next step is a meeting in the showroom. We’ll finalise finishes, style, colours, handles, appliances and any other relevant information.

Step 3. Site check
This step includes measuring and checking of walls and floors for level and plumb and checking delivery access. We might also need to finalise any details we couldn’t cover at the showroom meeting.

Step 4. Drawing Sign off
When the site check is complete and all details are confirmed, your design will go into pre-production to have a final set of drawings made up.

Step 6. Delivery and Installation
Your cabinetry can be delivered the day before or on the day of installation, which can take between 1 and 4 days depending on the size and complexity of the project.
